Angels Qualify for Lower Mainlands

The Angels beat R.C. Palmer 78-50 in the wildcard qualification game to book their place in the eight team Lower Mainland tournament.

It was the first time since the first game of the season there were nine healthy players available, which helped the rotation. The Angels come into the Lower Mainlands, which is a double knockout tournament, ranked fifth. Qualifying for Provincials will be no easy task. This year's lower mainland teams dominate the provincial rankings; the teams ahead of LFA are provincially ranked #1,5,8 and 10. LFA is ranked 11th. The top three teams automatically advance while four to six have to play a wildcard game.
