LFA Wins "Outstanding Large Delegation Award" and 10 Individual Awards at CAHSMUN 2019

The very large delegation of 52 students who recently attended CAHSMUN from the 12-14th April represented LFA very well. This year, LFA won the Outstanding Large Delegation Award which is a testament to the entire delegation performing with excellence. Congratulations to all- indeed, this is a great accomplishment.
In addition and contributing to this delegation award were the 10 students who won individual awards on their respective committees.
They are:
Vanessa Batten '19 who won the Best Delegate Award on her Specialized committee entitled the Felip Calderon Cabinet or FCC)
Joyce Chen '21 who won the Best DelegateAward representing the Congo on the AU (African Union)
Clara Cheung '19 and Anna Mazurenko '19 who were a double delegation and won the Outstanding Delegate Award on the Arctic Committee representing Russia
Kimberley Kavlekar '21 who won the Outstanding Delegate Award as Thailand on UNICEF
Caroline Wang '19 who won Honorable Mention as Texas on the American Civil Union Committee
Maia Lan '20 who won Honorable Mention for her role on the JCC (Joint Crisis Committee revisiting the Vietnam War- Vietnam side)
Desiree Wu '19 who won Honorable Mention on the JCC but representing the USA on the Vietnam War.
Alexandra Thomas '21 who won Best Position Paper as Cambodia on UNICEF
Bridget McConnell '19 who won Best Position Paper on the specialized committee - the FCC)
