Track & Field Celebrate A Great Year

Our students performed with effort and determination at our Independent Zone mini meets and many were able to go on to Zone finals. Seven seniors and one junior athlete qualified for Provincials. As well, we had an impressive nine Grade 8 students invited to provincials. Abigail Santoso '23 placed in the top eight for shot put, Natalie Hui '21 did the same for javelin, and senior Ceili McCabe '19 earned a bronze medal in the 800 meter race and a stunning gold medal with a dramatic finish in the steeplechase. Our senior 4x400 team also placed in the top eight: a remarkable feat as they were running with two alternates.
