LFA shines at the Barry Sullivan Law Cup

On Tuesday, May 17, LFA sent a team of three students to compete for the annual Barry Sullivan Law Cup. Maria Zen Baxter (’22), Chloe Lam (’23), and Maya Mior (’22) competed against 60 students from all across the province in this prestigious public speaking competition.
The topic for this year’s competition was: What limits, if any, should there be on a person’s ability to protest?
The girls responded magnificently to this weighty topic, as we’re pleased to report that Chloe Lam placed 2nd runner up, while Maya Mior took home the top prize (again) for an unprecedented two years in a row. A big hearty congratulation goes out to all three students who did an excellent job representing LFA at this competition.
