Canada's Best Baker, Lauren Tjoe '19 Speaks with Senior Foods Students

Lauren regaled students with stories from her triumphant turn on The Great Canadian Baking Show. Students asked questions about baking and how to handle the heat of competition with grace and composure. Lauren also talked to students about her experiences as a 4th year Sauder student at UBC. She gave advice on how to manage your time, how to assert yourself in male-dominated fields, and the importance of embracing challenges in pursuit of growth. We're incredibly grateful whenever talented alum like Lauren return to the school to pay forward their wisdom to current generations of students.
