Engineering and Applied Science at LFA

Engineering and applied science lives at LFA through the collaborative efforts of Physics AP and STEAM programs. About a month ago, you may recall my note about our participation in UBC's 40th annual Physics Olympics competition. This opportunity gave students in Physics AP and STEAM a chance to excercise their ability to apply their knowledge to engineer, design, build, test and compete with over 70 teams from secondary schools all over British Columbia! How did we do? LFA had teams in the Ballistics Challenge competition and the Spinning Top competition.
