Spotlight: Swimming
LFA’s swim team made a splash during this year’s season! With almost 40 swimmers, this has been one of LFA’s largest swim teams in years.
Through practices every Wednesday, led by our two student coaches Desiree Wu '19 and Jacqueline Wong '20, our recreational swimmers improved their skills and got a chance to practice every stroke.
Our competitive team did amazing as well at all the meets. Every LFA swimmer who competed at Zones qualified for provincials, leading us to be ranked as one of the Top 3 among girls in the whole meet! At provincials, swimmers carried on their good efforts and ended our season on a high note, with all our relays qualifying for finals!
Good work girls and thank you for an amazing season! Special shoutout to our senior swimmers for all their years of hard work and Mr. Coady for being such a great teacher sponsor!
