Student Life

Spiritual

Little Flower Academy is focused on our students' spiritual growth: learning to know and serve God in our Roman Catholic faith tradition and practice. Our girls will be asked to serve and encouraged to lead. Through prayer, worship and reflection, students will learn more about themselves and how each is called to live her life. Spiritual growth is at the very centre of a Little Flower Academy education.

The LFA religious studies curriculum is the same as any other Catholic high school in our archdiocese. It provides education that allows students to grow in their faith. Religious studies course work is required all five years.

In the tradition of the Sisters of St. Ann, we educate young women within an intercultural Catholic faith community to realize their full potential: spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

Values drive what we do and how we teach. Our motto, Ad Lucem, means “to the light.” By encouraging the spirituality of our students and focusing on instilling the values of integrity, respect, service, excellence and simplicity, we strive to be Christ’s Light in society.

In addition to the religious curriculum, we have a vibrant campus ministry that includes regular Masses, morning prayer and countless value-based clubs. Our students also attend annual class retreats where they strengthen bonds with classmates and make new discoveries to guide them in their faith journey and personal growth.
