LFA Alumna Poetry Part of Vancouver's Remembrance Day

Each year, students in the senior English class submit their poems to the Royal Canadian Legion's Remembrance Day Contest. Three of our '09 grads (Gina Neumann, Anna Maria Parayno and Adele Mills) had their poems chosen, with Gina Neuman's poem being chosen for the city's largest Remembrance Day ceremony. The poem was also mentioned in CBC's news coverage of the day's events.

It is becoming a tradition for our poets to be part of the ceremony. Last year's ceremony featured a poem by LFA's Katherine Chan '08.
