With no church funding whatsoever, Little Flower Academy relies on gifts to enrich the day-to-day experience and deliver all of our capital enhancements. Still, the tuition fees, annual giving, capital gifts and endowment support our community gives is able to provide these young women with the most exceptional Catholic, girls' education possible.
Gifts are immediately invested in the programs, resources and opportunities that make an LFA education so exceptional. Gifts do more than cover a budgeted gap in funding. Gifts this year of more than $460,000 have provided the resources that make each girl’s experience extraordinary.
We continue to remake our beautiful campus to reflect the most current best practice for teaching and empowering young women. In addition to nearly $100,000 in capital projects, the LFA Foundation received more than $150,000 in endowment fund commitments this year. The LFA Foundation now manages very near $1 million in endowed funds for the benefit of today's students. Both will serve future generations of young women seeking an exceptional, all girls' education in our community.
Walkathon and Spring Fling Viva Las Vegas
This year's Walkathon raised almost $60,000. The efforts of our students contribute to their own education and reinforce an understanding of community ownership. The Parents' Auxiliary, which threw a second wonderful Viva Las Vegas evening raised nearly $15,000, which will directly support the student experience.
