Giving helps empower so much of what makes LFA a special place to live and learn. From course offerings to sports and extracurriculars, field trips, retreats, and campus technology, the resources and opportunities our students possess, are made possible through giving.
Even more special than that is how our students rise to meet these opportunities. To name a few examples from this past year: our decorated choir had the incredible honour of performing at the Goh Ballet this year as part of their production of “The Nutcracker”; our Physics Olympics team continued their impressive growth this year at UBC’s 47th Physics Olympics, placing 4th and 6th in the solar boat and lightbox events respectively, out of 81 total teams; our Senior Field Hockey team garnered their third podium finish in the last three years by capturing bronze at Provincials; graduating senior Thalie Se ’25 won a Gold Medal at Junior Nationals in Mixed Doubles Badminton; and Hilary Pang ’25 became our 4th Schulich Scholar recipient in the past five years, receiving Canada’s most prestigious STEM scholarship to study at the University of Waterloo.
Our students truly make the most of the opportunities we provide them, and community support is what helps create those opportunities. It is with that in mind that we have set in motion a visionary campus transformation. As we prepare to break ground in the fall, and unveil our new campus by 2027, the next chapter of LFA is upon us. This project will revitalize how we teach, and it will push our students to discover their fullest potential.
