  LFA’s Senior Field Hockey team came within a whisker of being BC School Sport AAA Provincial Champions on Friday. After years of successful Provincial Championship tournaments at AA, LFA was moved up to AAA this year. Despite the elevated competition, LFA took their season to the gold medal game, giving up the winning goal in the final two minutes in a barn burner of a final game.

  Coming off their 4-win, bronze medal performance at Bridgman this past weekend, LFA was all business in their last league game of the year. With the win, LFA will finish second in the Vancouver league and prepare for their Sea to Sky Zone Championship match up with West Vancouver Secondary next week.
