Our 2020 Walkathon will take place on Friday, September 25th, but will be very different this year. 

In the past, LFA's Walkathon was one of our biggest events of the year. Fun for students and parent volunteers alike, it brought the community together. With restrictions in place, this year's Walkathon won't include parent volunteers and activities will take place exclusively in grade cohorts.  

As always, Walkathon remains a school fundraiser that our students lead. 

The funds raised by our students at Walkathon support and improve the student experience. Previous Walkathons have helped us to replace the school's old vehicles, enabled new classroom technology and special projects, funded our student retreat program (along with the Annual Fund) and, every year, provides for the student council activities.

This year, one of the primary objectives will be supporting the COVID Response Fund, which includes campus safety upgrades and and new technology, both of which will benefit students beyond the pandemic, as well as emergency financial aid that may be needed. 

It’s a great community building event for our students, where the funds raised directly improves their student experience and instills the value of hard work towards a common goal.

Tax Receipts
In accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency requirements, tax receipts will be issued in the name of the credit cardholder only. The donor name and address must match the name and billing address on the credit card.
