The Annual Fund is Operating Enrichment

Your gift to the Annual Fund has a powerful impact on the experience of every girl, every day.

Your gift to the Annual Fund has a powerful impact on the experience of every girl at Little Flower Academy, every day, from academics and spiritual formation, to athletics and the arts. Gifts to The Annual Fund immediately impact the girls day-to-day experience while keeping tuition as affordable as possible for all LFA families today.
Little Flower Academy is an independent, Roman Catholic school. Unlike most Catholic schools in our Archdiocese, LFA receives no Parish subsidy, nor money from Project Advance. From the many sacrifices of the Sisters of St. Ann to the supportive annual gifts it receives today, LFA relies on the generosity of donors in our Little Flower community who give their time, treasure and talent to support our mission.

Like nearly every independent school, charitable gifts beyond tuition are essential for delivering the exceptional programs and opportunities we offer our students. The many special attributes that set LFA apart--small classes, skilled faculty, a diverse student body, well-maintained facilities, special offerings beyond core classes--are expensive. We are committed to maintaining the most affordable tuition possible, so rather than raising tuition we solicit tax-deductible donations through various initiatives which help the school and allow families to give based on their ability.
The deeper a tree sinks its roots into the soil, the greater its chances of growing, branching out and producing fruit -- Blessed Marie Anne Blondin
To continue our well established tradition of excellent education, Little Flower Academy relies on contributions from alumnae, parents, grandparents, parents of alumni and friends. We rely heavily on our Annual Fund for the enhancement of year to year operating costs and enrichment. Large scale capital projects and building the school's endowment are guided by the Little Flower Academy Foundation. Together these efforts continually improve the experience and opportunity for each and every one of our students.
The Gap
Tuition and Government grant goes a long way toward covering the costs of an LFA education, but not all of the way. As an independent Catholic school, LFA receives no funding from Project Advance, nor from any parishes or the Archdiocese. We are completely independent in our funding.

Over the past five years, the average annual difference between our tuition and government grant income and the actual cost of the programs, resources, experiences and facilities we offer has been approximately $1,500 per student. This is “the Gap”. It is only through the generosity of donors that LFA is able to meet this essential need.

With your support, LFA can continue to provide excellence in academics and outstanding student curricular and extracurricular programs, recruit and retain the best teachers, and sustain our campus as an innovative and inspiring place to learn.

There’s no better way to help every girl, every day, have the experience she deserves from Little Flower Academy.

Annual Fund Priorities

List of 2 items.

  • Principal's Initiatives

Granting the means with which to apply funds to the area(s) of highest institutional priority and spontaneous faculty needs in and out of the classroom.
  • Financial Aid

Ensuring adequate resources to attract and retain a student population that is highly diverse, talented and motivated. A core value of the School and the Sisters of St Ann is that a Little Flower Academy education be accessible to the whole community, regardless of means.
