STEAM Night Invite

You are invited! Whether your daughter is taking part or you've just heard about what's going on, it's your turn to come in and get a close look at what STEAM is at LFA. Come jonig us on Wednesday May 22nd, anytime from from 3pm to 7pm.

You can go through the whole lab, while the sudents exhibit past projects and work on current ones. It's an intimate and interactive look at how the STEAM program runs and what students are doing.

This year is only the third full year of STEAM, but it has seen incredible growth as we build it each year. Come take a close look what students do inside the classes and STEAM club. Check out our new Robotics program and some related projects. See what we do in Physics Olympics, Junior Physics Olympics and Technovation. Ask questions about our new ADST / STEAM course offerings including Engineering 12, Robotics 12 and Media Design 12. Come and meet our parent mentors who are professional and practicing engineers: Dale Brown and Kevin Johnston.

This is a casual event, students will simply be working on their projects as you browse. Feel free to take a look at what they are doing and ask questions. See you there!
