Lori Lai '24 Wins 2024 Show Off! High School Art Competition and Exhibition's Award of Distinction
In March, Lori Lai '24 was selected as a finalist for AUArts' online exhibition for her piece "Labour of Love". After judges deliberation, she has been awarded the Award of Distinction, winning LFA's Art Department a grant in the process.
The Alberta University of the Arts offers Grade 10-12 students across Canada the opportunity to showcase their artwork in the 2024 ShowOff! Art Competition and Exhibition.
Lori Lai '24 submitted her piece "Labour of Love", a wood sculpture artwork that addresses the comforts of family. Her piece was chosen by a panel of judges for the Award of Distinction. As a result, LFA's Art Department has been awarded a grant as well.
