A New Tradition

A tradition takes hold as the Graduation Committee commits to the Class of 2013 Endowment Fund, which will fund financial aid for future generations.
For the second year in a row, the Graduation Committee has made the initial commitment to start a Class Endowment Fund. The Graduation Committee made a class gift with their surpluss on behalf of the Class of 2013. Over the years, these gifts have been small tokens of appreciation. However, both the Class of 2012 and the Class of 2013 made the decision to commit their gift to Endowment. In both instances, additional gifts have come in to bolster their commitment. The Class of 1962 made a similar gift as part of their reunion too!

As with any endowment fund, these gifts build a principal sum that generates interest. The interest in each instance helps deliver financial aid to families who might not otherwise be able to access LFA. The legacy these classes leave is the school's ability to maintain and strengthen its commitment to serving the whole Catholic community with exceptional, faith-based, girls' education regardless of means.

Thank you to the Class of 2013 for helping establish this tradition. Your gift will benefit generations of students including, maybe, your own daughters and granddaughters.
