Angels Win Provincial Bronze
Our Senior Volleyball Team capped another wonderful year with a medal at this year's AAA Provincial Championship. The team will be very proud of a hugely successful season that saw them medal in tournaments from the beginning to the end of the season and play some passionate, inspired volleyball in the final tournament of the year.
Playing Mark Isfield in the final capped a run of three games against the very best teams in AAA volleyball. The win was well deserved as the team had to mentally regroup after the disappointment of losing to Timberline in the semi finals. Perhaps Timberline had some extra motivation as it was only a few weeks ago that LFA took gold at the Timberline Tournament held in Campbell River.
Not to be forgotten is the accomplishment in making the semis, where LFA had to beat Carihi Secondary. LFA was ranked #1 coming into the tournament while Carihi was ranked #2. It was an extraordinary quarter final.
