Provincials Public Speakers Qualify for Nationals

Thank you to all our competitors for your hard work and dedication. Senior team members Cate Shumka, Krupa Pramod and Brianna Lam along with Siena Franks helped mentor our new junior team of Alexus Ng, Alicia Ng, Eliana Pe , Hazel Yip and Gwyneth Au.

 

Congratulations are in order for Brianna Lam ‘27, who made Senior finals in both Interpretive Reading and Persuasive Speaking, winning top Interpretive Reader and coming 6th overall in BC.  Congratulations as well to Cate Shumka ‘27, who placed 9th overall and will also represent BC at Nationals. We wish them the best of luck at Nationals which will be held in February in Winnipeg.

 

Krupa Pramod ‘28 and Sylvia Xie ‘28 also did exceptionally well at British Parliamentary Provincials, placing 6th overall as a team in BC
