Amelia King '27 Selected as Semifinalist in 2026 Poetry in Voice Competition!
Congratulations to Amelia King '27 who has been selected for the second year in a row to be a Semifinalist in the 2026 Poetry in Voice/Les voix de la poésie Senior Online Qualifiers.
Poetry in Voice is a nationwide poetry recitation competition with schools participating from all across the country. Amelia's recitation of "A Breakfast for Barbarians" was selected by an esteemed committee of published poets, who wrote in response to Amelia's submission, "You've excelled in a rigorous nationwide competition".
Amelia's submission has now been entered into Poetry in Voice's People’s Choice Award.

On Thursday, March 19, Poetry in Voice will announce the People’s Choice Award winners, as well as the nine finalists who will compete at the 2026 National Finals.
Congratulations to Amelia and to Siena Franks '29, our junior schoolwide champion and Grace Omae '28 our school’s bilingual champion, as well as everyone who participated at our school!
