Farewell to Father Gordon

Father Gordon made himself and integral part of LFA. He attended our staff retreat, celebrated school masses, visited classrooms, and journeyed to Camp Capilano to celebrate mass at the grades eight and nine retreats. On reconciliation days he would come early to view the student-led penitential service.

When asked to celebrate our year-end liturgy in June, Father Gordon made a point of letting us know how honoured he felt to be asked. Because he has been so involved with the school over the past two years, he was able to make the homily more personal and familiar to the students. He even worked Chef Paul into it

We wish Father Gordon all the best in his new parish and thank him for the time he was able to spend with us.
