LFA Summer Volleyball Camps

Little Flower Academy will be hosting the 2nd annual LFA Gold Medal summer volleyball camp. The camp is available to both current LFA students and those students incoming to grade 8 at LFA in 2012. The camp runs daily, 9AM-1PM Mon Aug 27th, Tues 28th, Wed 29th, & Fri 31st. The cost is $140 per athlete. The camp will feature former Canadian National Team players Ross Ballard, Emily Codonier and former UBC Volleyball Coach Dale Ohman.

 

Camp 1 (Fundamentals): This camp is for girls entering into grades 8 and 9. The camp will focus on basic volleyball skills, spiking shots and directions, emergency digging, attack and soft blocking, spin serves, team play defense and offence systems.

 

Camp 2 (Specialization): This camp is for girls entering into grades 10, 11 or 12. Each day will include a fundamentals skill group session, which will be followed by specialized training for Power Hitters, Middle Blockers, Liberos and Setters.

 

We welcome both current LFA students and those students incoming to grade 8 at LFA in 2011. Please fill out the registration form and send it along with payment directly to Mr. Ballard, or drop off the form at the LFA front office.
