Little Flower Academy's spring concert will feature Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir, directed by founding artistic director Gail Suderman and guest artist, Crystal Hicks. The Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir is known for its dynamic vocal sound, excellence in performance and a commitment to sharing the “good noise” that is gospel music. The choir’s mandate is to develop and promote an appreciation and understanding of gospel music in all its many styles and forms and introduce audiences to the unique and powerful aspects of this music. In connection with the Good Noise VIP Young Artist program, Good Noise Gospel Choir has partnered with the Choral Department from LFA to put on a rousing concert complete with acclaimed gospel musicians and soloists.

In the ten years of the choir’s existence, Good Noise has become Vancouver’s “go to” gospel choir, receiving many requests for special performances, both live and on television and radio. In addition to sold-out concerts each season, Good Noise has performed with artists such as Barbara Streisand, David Foster, Josh Groban, Holly Cole, Daniel Lapp, Dee Daniels, Jim Byrnes, John Lee Sanders, Jennifer Scott, Karin Plato, Kate Hammett-Vaughan, and has appeared on CBC TV, CBC Radio, Global TV, CityTV, Bravo, Knowledge Network and Vision TV and featured in the Disney corporation’s promotion of the musical “The Lion King”. In addition to concert and festival engagements, the choir has also performed many benefit performances for charitable organizations including: BC Cancer Agency, Red Cross, Doctors without Borders, HIV/Aids care in Africa, Soles for Souls and the Christmas Wish Foundation.
