LFA student Asha Mior '20 has been recognized by the Kimberley Foundation’s FOCUS! Climate Change Video Contest. Asha's film, Bee Crisis, was shortlisted in the competition and has been recognized as worthy of special commendation. Bee Crisis stood out among the 160 films submitted by more than 400 students from 8 provinces and over 85 institutions.
Asha's film, along with the other finalists, will be featured at the FOCUS! Red Carpet Screening on June 9, 2018. Tickets are free and can be reserved through the Kimberley Foundation website. "The evening promises to be amazing, with finalist films at the secondary and post-secondary levels being screened and awarded as well as a montage of highly notable films. A reception will also be held following the screening," according to Kimberley Foundation spokesperson Sue Roppel.
Her film will be posted to the Kimberly Foundation website on June 11th for all to view.
