Van Gogh Art Contest Winner: Emma Garm-Straker
Congratulations to our talented Grade 12 artist, Emma Garm-Straker '16, who recently won 4th place in the Van Gogh Student Art Competition. Local Grade 11 and 12 students were invited to submit their original artwork inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, and Emma’s photograph entitled “The Liberation of Art” was among the winners!
In addition to her prize, Emma currently has her photograph on display at Oakridge Mall, in conjunction with the Van Gogh Edition Collection display which is here from Amsterdam. Be sure to stop by to see her award-winning creation. Congratulations, Emma!
