On her performance with this summer's Provincial Field Hockey team that won silver, Allison Kuzyk '20 has just been identified as a targeted athlete by Field Hockey BC. While field hockey has emerged as her "go-to" sport, she's a multi-sport athlete at LFA and in the community.
Allison has played Senior A field hockey in both Grade 8 and 9 for Little Flower and was one of our top scorers this past season. She's also playing basketball for our LFA Junior team this winter.
Her multisport success doesn't end there. The national field hockey championships in Calgary this summer gave way to her playing at this year's Girls U16 Baseball National Championships in Ontario. The demands of elite field hockey, school sports and the inherent demands of the older grades forced Allison to finally step away from boys 'rep' ice hockey to the less time consuming 'house' league this winter.
