Angels Lose in Triple Overtime

Again the Angels started well but this game became a battle of attrition. With McMath up by 2 with less than 30 seconds left, the Angels scored a game-tying layup forcing overtime. The game eventually went to triple overtime. Unfortunately the Angels lost 51-49.

The Lower Mainland Tournament games gave the whole team an opportunity to work on their game while reinforcing the commitment and intensity at this level, previewing what is to come at the provincials. Our Junior Basketball Angels had already earned themselves entry into the tournament by winning an earlier tournament. They'll now enter the Provincial Championship ranked sixth in the province.
