After an impressive season that saw LFA finish second in the region, our Junior Volleyball Angels secured their berth at the Junior Provincial Championships. A fantastic tournament ended with the Angels in 9th
The Angels Junior Volleyball team were undefeated almost the whole of the 2017 season, losing to Notre Dame in the third set, in the deciding match. However that did not stop the Angels' ambitions to keep going and compete in the Junior Volleyball Provincials.
During the first day of Provincials, the Angels faced the highly-ranked Pacific Academy, and lost only by a few points. The Angels still made it to the top 16, and fought valiantly against the top-ranked Lord Tweedesmere, losing in three sets.
Known best for being a "silent team", the Angels worked their way to 2nd place in the League and finished 9th in the Junior Volleyball Provincials. The girls became a family on and off the court and were overjoyed with their tremendous effort and hard work to place 9th overall in Provincials.
Angels, be proud, you did spectacularly this year!
