The LFA Swim Club managed to take third place overall at the 2025 BCSS Swimming Provincial Championships.
Twelve LFA swimmers qualified to the 2025 BCSS Swimming Provincial Championships. Theyswam with all their skills and courage in Relay and Individual events for two days, November 14 & 15, accumulating a lot of points for the school. The LFA Swim Club managed to take third place overall in the beautiful province of BC as a AA school.
Olympian Canadian swimmers Taylor Rock and Lauren Sanchez attended BCSS on Saturday to help hand out medals. It was very exciting for the girls to meet such experienced and dedicated professionals, who both medaled in the Olympics of Rio and Tokyo.
Receiving a medal of her own, Maya Habans '28 earned bronze in the 50m Breast stroke "B". It was a very close race for Maya, we're incredibly proud of her accomplishment.
