LFA Swim Club Finishes 3rd at Provincials!

The LFA Swim Club managed to take third place overall at the 2025 BCSS Swimming Provincial Championships.

Twelve LFA swimmers qualified to the 2025 BCSS Swimming Provincial Championships. They swam with all their skills and courage in Relay and Individual events for two days, November 14 & 15, accumulating a lot of points for the school. The LFA Swim Club managed to take third place overall in the beautiful province of BC as a AA school.

Olympian Canadian swimmers Taylor Rock and Lauren Sanchez attended BCSS on Saturday to help hand out medals. It was very exciting for the girls to meet such experienced and dedicated professionals, who both medaled in the Olympics of Rio and Tokyo.

Receiving a medal of her own, Maya Habans '28 earned bronze in the 50m Breast stroke "B". It was a very close race for Maya, we're incredibly proud of her accomplishment.

Congratulations are owed to all our swimmers who competed including: Sophie Arenas-Hoang '30, Luna Cheung '26, Natalie Gan '29, Angela Guan '26, Maya Habans '28, Alivea Lat '30, Hannah Park '30, Seah Park '28, Juliette Roberts '29, Anna Shen '30, Isa Shen '30, and Sienna Sugiarto '30.
