After carefully watching the weather forecast over the last week, along with the Environment Canada update released this morning, and considering the safety and responsibility of transporting students to Squamish, we have made the difficult decision of canceling the retreat scheduled for Tuesday, November 30.
Three of our alumnae featured in recent issues of La Petite Fleur continue to shine in their respective sports. Ceili McCabe '19 is turning heads in the running world with an NCAA season that has her competing at the 2021 NCAA Cross-Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. Meanwhile, two LFA field hockey alumnae--Mikayla Stelling '21 and Allison Kuzyk '20--are off to represent Canada at the Junior World Cup in South Africa in early December.
Our amazing Angels played their hearts out to the final whistle. The loss to Mt. Doug meant LFA finished sixth at this year's AA Provincial Championship. Finishing in the top half of the championships is a reflection of how far this team has come. Resilient and hard working, this group played with the best in the Province and left it all on the pitch.
All applicants for Grade 8 (2022-2023) are required to sit the Entrance Exam as part of their application. With COVID restrictions, writing the Entrance Exam will be different this year. Details on writing the exam and start time, specific to each applicant, will be communicated directly.
Our annual Christmas welcome-back to our alumnae. A chance to take a break and share some Christmas spirit with those who are finishing up term exams or who have come back from studying or working afar.
