Our Process

Coming out of strategic planning at the completion of our STEAM lab in 2017, we began the process of developing a Campus Master Plan. Based on research undertaken by experts in educational development; in response to curriculum and pedagogical changes; and, incorporating the latest best practices in educational delivery, we will create the most outstanding learning environment for our students – for a campus befitting one of the very best schools in British Columbia.

 

The process was led by our Head of School, Diane Little, along with our Jane Rowan Society Board of Directors and LFA Foundation Board. Consultants assisted us with facilitation, data, analysis and strategy, and the architecture firm Acton Ostry was enlisted to design our new campus.

 

Guided by LFA’s greater mission and vision, we have the utmost confidence that the Flourish campaign will be the most significant and impactful endeavour in our school’s history.

On September 5^th, 2025, we celebrated the much-anticipated launch of our Flourish Campaign. Among a crowd of nearly 2,000 community members, we unveiled our plans for the next evolution of LFA. It was the biggest event in LFA history to date. The outpouring of support from our community was a resounding vote of confidence in our mission and vision for LFA’s future.
