Join us on Friday, September 5th for a monumental day in LFA history! This year's Welcome Back BBQ will be transformed into the launch - and ground breaking - of our long-awaited campus redevelopment.  

This past spring break our Model UN team headed off the Japan to compete at the JMMUN in Tokyo. Our talented group of students came back with 6 awards!

Thalia competed at the 2025 Canadian U17/U19 Junior Nationals this past week and came away with the top prize alongside her doubles partner, Nathan Lee. 

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible success of the LFA Chamber Choir, who recently returned from the Whistler Cantando Music Festival after an inspiring weekend of music-making, learning, and community. Held in the beautiful setting of Whistler, B.C., this annual festival brought together over 3,000 music students from across Western Canada to participate in workshops, adjudicated performances, and evening concerts led by esteemed music educators and clinicians.

Select members of the LFA Chamber Choir and LFA Senior Choir have been invited to perform as part of Goh Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from Dec 19th - 22nd.

LFA Alumnae Mylene de Guzman '87 was recently appointed as a new Provincial Court Judge by the Government of BC.

The LFA Physics Olympics participated in UBC's 47th Physics Olympics this past weekend, competing shoulder to shoulder with the most competitive schools in the province. 

This past January, 40 LFA Model UN students attended the 2025 Vancouver Model UN conference and earned LFA 14 awards!

Our Bantam basketball team played a hard fought game last night against York House to claim a 37-25 victory on their way to raising the League Championship banner! 

The Sr. Basketball team bested Crofton House 58-48 to claim the Sea to Sky Championship for the 3rd straight year. 

With a 47-40 victory against Sir Charles Tupper last night, our Sr Basketball team has qualified for the AAA BC Provincial Tournament for the 3rd straight year!

As winter weather conditions are upon us, we are reposting our procedures for emergency school closures.

This past November, thirty very excited Grade 10 Model UN students experienced their first MUN international conference taking part in the very interesting annual PACMUN conference at the Ala Moana Convention Centre in Honolulu.
