The LFA Physics Olympics team competed on Saturday at the 45th annual Physics Olympics at UBC. Competing against 70 other secondary school teams.
An annual tradition, The UBC Physics Olympics is an event hosted by the UBC Physics and Engineering Physics faculty. Highlights for our team this year included the Vacuum Pump challenge and the Boat challenge. The vacuum pump challenge went well considering the team only had a few days to work on it. The boat challenge went very well. LFA was one of the few teams where the boat actually reached the end of the course on its own power without touching the sides. Mr. Chow is super proud of the LFA Olympic Team!
