LFA Wins 8 Awards at VMUN 2026
Our LFA Model UN team attended VMUN 2026 this past weekend and represented the school exceptionally, bringing home 8 awards.
VMUN hosted by St Georges' school took place this past Friday and the weekend. LFA was very successful at this conference with 8 girls winning awards. There were 1500 students at this international conference so these awards are impressive. The girls did very well with two Best Delegate (gavels), two Outstanding, one Honourable Mention and three Best Researched Position Paper Awards.
The 8 Award Winners included:
Best Delegate - Sherlynn Fung '26, Krupa Pramod '28
Outstanding Delegate - Juri Matsuda-Doerksen '27, Sarah Nguyen '27
Honourable Mention - Juliet Mabasa '27
Best Researched - Ava Nasrabadi '26, Therese Robles '27, Sydney Spratt '28
Our Angels had a great time at the conference, and with 1500 students participating awards were not easy to come by.
Mr. Bengono, Ms. Duffy, and Mrs. Mills were so appreciative of the group’s great co-operation and spirit. Way to go Model UN Angels! You continue to inspire all!
