LFA Chamber Choir Shines at Whistler Cantando Music Festival

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible success of the LFA Chamber Choir, who recently returned from the Whistler Cantando Music Festival after an inspiring weekend of music-making, learning, and community. Held in the beautiful setting of Whistler, B.C., this annual festival brought together over 3,000 music students from across Western Canada to participate in workshops, adjudicated performances, and evening concerts led by esteemed music educators and clinicians.

Our LFA Chamber Choir gave a stellar performance during their adjudicated set on Friday, impressing both the adjudicators and audience members alike. Their musicality, discipline, and artistry stood out among the many talented ensembles in attendance. As a result, they were honoured with a coveted invitation to perform in the festival’s Finale Adjudicator’s Concert, which featured the top choirs of the entire festival—a true mark of excellence!

To be selected for this final performance is a rare and meaningful recognition, and the LFA Chamber Choir’s passionate and polished delivery made a lasting impression. Their Friday performance quickly became the talk of the festival, with fellow directors, students, and adjudicators praising their musical impact and presence on stage.
