Angels Stay Perfect in League Play

LFA was all business from the first whistle. Eva set the tone with a wicked, rising backhand into the top corner after some nice build up through the midfield pairing of Serena and Michaela. Micky and Olivia would add to the lead before the fist quarter was out.

With a solid lead, our Angels played a more conservative game. York, to their credit, used the time given to good effect, forcing some good defensive work from LFA. Still, it would be Angie jumping on an opportunity and a simply stunning bit of passing that went from Chelsea to Francesca and back to Chelsea for a sublime goal that the team will remember for some time to come.

While some defensive breakdowns occurred that led to a goal back by YHS, the team closed out the game back on the attack. It bodes well for the games to come that the Angels are hitting their stride early in the season. It's Bridgman Tournament in Victoria next week, but you can cheer on the Angels on Wednesday, Oct. 14 when they face off against Crofton at Crofton at 3:45pm.
