Synthetic Turf

Maintaining the grass at LFA is a full-time job. Mr. Cannon, who handles the entire school’s maintenance needs, does incredible work aerating, seeding, weeding, watering, and mowing our grass field to keep it playable for our students. But even Mr. Cannon can't stop the Vancouver rain that will inevitably make the field unplayable for weeks at a time.

The installation of an artificial turf field will give our Athletics program year-round access to a field. Whether it is the opportunity for field hockey teams to be able to train on a surface remotely similar to games, or soccer not worrying about the rain-out, having a playable surface year-round will be a blessing for all students.
