Flourish Update: June 2026

The past few months have seen immense structural work completed. The shape and outline of the campus have come into sharper focus, and the months ahead will see much of the exterior work reach completion.

Since our last update, our campus has seen almost the entirety of the foundational and structural concrete poured. The month of April saw our performance centre take shape as section by section, rebar grids were assembled, walls were reinforced, and concrete was poured and settled. Over on the Alexandra-facing side of the site, our campus rose from two to four storeys and had all its structural concrete poured.

With the key structures of our campus standing, the Axiom crew moved on to reinforcing the foundation of the site with rebar and concrete. Around mid-May, the first pieces of mass timber arrived on site. Over the next few weeks, the crane went to work lifting, maneuvering, and placing key structural beams of mass timber across the site. By the end of May, the entirety of the north side of campus, as well as the performance centre had its foundational concrete poured and settled, and the key structural pieces of mass timber were locked in place across the site.

The first few weeks of June have seen preliminary work done to clear up and level what will become the courtyard of our new campus, and large sections of mass timber installed across the site to functionally put a roof on the first storey of our campus.

The transformation witnessed in the last few months has been incredible. The Axiom crew has been nothing short of stellar as the project remains well on pace for our Fall 2027 opening. Over the summer months we can expect more mass timber to arrive on site and be assembled, we can expect our courtyard to take shape, and for the exterior of the campus to get closer and closer to its intended final form.
