LFA Alumna Racking Up Track Success

Ceili will head to the NCAA East Preliminary Round ranked No. 1 in the Big 12 and No. 30 nationally in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. She has a top time of 9:58.62 at a meet called the Mountaineer Twilight, which took place on May 1, in Morgantown, West Virginia. The time was good for an outdoor school record. 
 
Ceili is coming off of a first-place, gold medal performance at the 2021 Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championship, on May 15, in Manhattan Kansas. McCabe's winning time of 10:08.69 ranks fifth-place in the WVU outdoor program history.

If McCabe can qualify at the East Region by who placing in the top 12 in their events, she will advance to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships. This will nearly get her home! They in Eugene, Oregon from June 9-12. Go Ceili!
